Mozilla의 새로운 오픈 소스 기반 모바일 웹 운영체제인 Firefox OS에 대해 배우고 웹앱을 함께 만드는 글로벌 웹 개발자 축제인 Firefox OS App Day에 여러분을 초대합니다. 2013년 1월 26일 서울 한남동 다음 오피스와 전 세계에서 공동으로 펼쳐지는 이 행사에 서울에서도 여러분과 함께 합니다.

여러분이 웹 개발자라면 HTML5와 자바스크립트, CSS를 가지고 Firefox OS에서 앱을 바로 만들 수 있습니다. 저희는 어떻게  모바일 Web API에 접근해서 네이티브 수준의 앱을 만들고, 데스크톱에서 Firefox OS 시뮬레이터를 통해 테스트할 수 있는 개발 환경을 소개해 드립니다.

Mozilla의 기술 리더들은 새로운 웹 플랫폼을 지원하기 위한 새로운 기술을 소개할 것입니다.  App Day는 경쟁 행사가 아니라 Firefox OS 휴대폰과 Firefox Marketplace에 올릴 새로운 모바일 앱을 만들 수 있는 기회입니다. 뿐만 아니라 기술 리더 및 혁신가들과 여러분의 프로젝트를 데모하고 피드백을 얻을 수 있는 기회이기도 합니다. 

여러분이 만들고 있는 웹앱을 Firefox OS 기기와 안드로이드 기기에 배포하고 새로운 앱 경험을 제공할 수 있는 기회에 지금 바로 참여하십시오!

참가자 준비 사항

와이파이가 가능한 노트북 지참(어떤 OS도 관계 없음). 여러분이 만들고 준비하는 웹앱 프로젝트. 참고! 해커톤 및 데모에 참여하신 분들께는 티셔츠, 스티커, USB스틱 및 다음에서 준비한 선물을 증정해 드립니다.

프로그램 내용

앱! 앱! 앱! Firefox Marketplace는 여러분이 만들고 있는 모바일 웹앱을 Firefox OS와 Firefox Andorid 사용자에게 배포할 수 있습니다. 기존의 모바일 웹 사이트를 비롯 개인 사용자용 도구, 웹 게임 등등 다양한 앱을 직접 만들어 올리고 데모도 해 주십시오.

• 대중교통: 지하철 6호선 한강진 역 하차 후 도보 5분이나 지하철 2(강남), 7(논현), 9(신논현) 하차 후 한남동 방향 버스 이용(10분) - 순천향대학병원 (구, 단국대앞) 하차.

Please join us on Saturday January 26 (Daum Office in Hannam, Seoul), to learn, hack and celebrate the Firefox OS, Mozilla's open source operating system for the mobile web.

If you're a web developer, you’ll be right at home coding apps in HTML5, JavaScript and CSS for the Firefox OS. We’ll help you with everything else, including how to access mobile Web APIs and how to use the Firefox OS Simulator in your desktop browser to view and test your mobile apps.

Technology leaders from Mozilla will present new technology built to extend and support the new platform.

This App Day is not a competition; it's an opportunity to start creating mobile apps for Firefox Marketplace and the coming Firefox OS phone. It's also a great opportunity to demo your project for an audience of peers, as well tech leaders and innovators.

We'll introduce you to the tools you need to get started.

What to bring:

Bring your Linux, Mac or Windows development machine and device(s). We will provide everything else.

What to build:

Apps. Apps. Apps. The Firefox Marketplace is looking for open web apps that work well on mobile for Firefox OS and Firefox for Android. But we're interested in all kinds of web apps. You can bring an HTML5 app that you’ve started and want to continue, finish, polish, or just present.
