Developer Programs Engineer는 외부에 Google의 신기술을 홍보하고 Google 내에서는 개발자의 요구를 대변합니다. 또한 최첨단 기술을 활용해 성장하고 다른 개발자들이 내놓는 새 애플리케이션 및 비즈니스에 대해 많은 관심을 가져야 합 니다. Developer Programs Engineer는 제3자 개발자와 커뮤니케이션하며 그들을 지원 하는 업무를 맡습니다. 지원 대상 개발자 커뮤니티에서 다루는 제품으로는 Google 크 롬, Android, App Engine, Google Wave, Google 지도 API, HTML5, Google 애플리케이 션 및 광고 비즈니스 등이 있습니다. Developer Programs Engineer는 뛰어난 웹 또는 모바일 애플리케이션 개발 능력 및 코딩 문제해결 능력을 필요로 하며 개발자 커뮤니 티에도 적극적으로 참여해야 합니다.
Responsibilities:
• 제3자 개발자가 Google API 통합 시 또는 기타 Google 개발자 프로그램 사용 시 생기는 문제 해결 지원
• 개발자 토론 포럼 관리 및 참여, 기술적/코딩 문제 해결 및 디버깅 지원
• 샘플코드 및 고객 라이브러리 작성, 오픈소스 프로젝트 참여
• 블로그 이용, 기술 관련 도움글 작성, 개발자 컨퍼런스 발표, 현지 개발자 커뮤니티와의 협력 등을 통해 개발자 프로그램 생태계 활성화
• 제품 엔지니어링 팀에 개발자 피드백 전달, API 디자인 검토, 새 기능 테스트 등을 통해 개발자 제품 개선 지원
Requirements:
• 컴퓨터 과학 학사 또는 이와 유사한 기술 학위 소지자 우대
• 뛰어난 엔지니어링/프로그래밍 경력 소지자
• 기술적인 내용을 분명하고 효과적으로 의사소통할 수 있는 자
• 웹 또는 모바일 애플리케이션 개발 경험자
• XML 지식이 있는 자 (SOAP 또는 REST 웹 서비스 경험자 우대)
• 다음 언어로 프로그래밍이 가능한 자(하나 이상): Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, .NET, JavaScript.

The role: Developer Programs Engineer
As a Developer Programs Engineer at Google, you will be a member of the Developer Relations organization. Developer Relations is focused on driving the success of Google's developer products and the open web by creating a thriving ecosystem of 3rd party applications and businesses built on them. You will be an evangelist for our newest technologies in the outside world, as well as a vocal advocate for developers' needs within Google. We expect you to be an engineer who thrives on the cutting edge of technology and loves seeing exciting, new applications and business that other developers are building. As a Developer Programs Engineer you will interact with and support third-party developers. In this position, you will be responsible for growing and supporting the developer community around products such as Chrome, Android, App Engine, Google Wave, Google Maps API, HTML5, and also support our core Google Apps and Ads businesses. You should have strong web or mobile application development skills and love troubleshooting challenging coding issues and participating in developer communities.
Responsibilities:
• Assist third-party developers in troubleshooting their integrations with Google APIs and use of other Google developer products.
• Manage and participate in developer discussion forums and support queues to debug and resolve technical/coding problems.
• Write sample code and client libraries, and contribute to open source projects.
• Build strong ecosystem for developer products by blogging, writing technical articles, making presentations at developer conferences, and working with local developer communities.
• Help product engineering teams improve developer products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs, and testing new features.
Requirements:
• BA/BS preferred in Computer Science or a similar technical degree.
• Significant engineering / programming work experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong web application or mobile application development experience.
• Solid knowledge of XML, with experience using SOAP or REST web services preferred.
• Solid programming abilities in one or more of the following languages: Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, .NET, JavaScript.
• Experience as a committer in an open source project is desirable.
